Three days and two apologies later, Eddie McGuire will return to regular radio duties in the wake of his AFL commentary blunder.
McGuire is expected to front the Triple M morning show on Monday morning, with Sydney demanding a sanction for the one of the league's most influential figures.
While there was no update from Fox Footy on Sunday, the expectation is that McGuire will return to his TV commentary role later this week.
McGuire is under fire for mocking double amputee Cynthia Banham, who tossed the coin before Friday night's Sydney-Adelaide match at the SCG.
The Collingwood president and media figure said there should be a $5000 fine for anyone who does not toss the coin properly.
Banham, the Swans' No.1 ticket holder, lost her legs in a 2007 plane accident and held her walking stick as she performed the pre-game coin toss.
McGuire's comments prompted a statement from the Swans, who said they were incredibly disappointed, and he apologised at halftime of the game.
McGuire apologised again on Saturday and announced he had removed himself from TV coverage of the Essendon-St Kilda game.
Swans chairman Andrew Pridham is calling for action, rather than just words against McGuire. So far, the only comment from the AFL has been a two-sentence statement, noting McGuire's apology.
