Former Australia Test seamer Clint McKay has returned the best-ever figures by a Leicestershire bowler in Twenty20 Blast cricket as they secured a five-wicket win over Worcestershire Rapids at New Road.
The Victorian finished with 5-11 from his four overs, surpassing the 5-13 by his former Bushrangers teammate Andrew McDonald against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge in 2010.
It was also McKay's personal best in the short format of the game as the Rapids were restricted to 8-148.
McKay, 34, played just the one Test for Australia but took 97 ODI wickets in the green and gold, in 59 appearances.
