Melbourne man on US child sex charges

An Australian man is in jail in California tonight facing child sex charges after being arrested in an undercover sting.

It will be alleged 33-year-old Melbourne man, Michael John Quinn was detected after contacting a social networking website catering to individuals with a sexual interest in children.

Virginia Kice from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement told Greg Dyett the man was arrested as part of an undercover operation.
