The welcome home tour for Australian Olympians has continued with thousands gathering in Melbourne to celebrate their efforts at the London Games.
Sydney became the first Australian city to officially welcome home its Olympic athletes on Monday and Brisbane will hold a parade on Friday.
Buoyed by the reception, star athletes in Melbourne say it has spurred them on to compete again at Rio in 2016.
