The Queensland government has pledged $338,000 to help mental health services cope with any increase in demand in the lead-up to the same-sex marriage plebiscite.
Minister for Health Cameron Dick on Tuesday said four non-government organisations - Lifeline, Kids Helpline. Queensland AIDS council and Open Doors Youth Service - would share the money until the end of November, when the postal vote is completed.
"We want any person struggling with the debate to know they can reach out and seek support," Mr Dick said.
