Meteorite gives clues to Martian atmosphere

Meteorites hurtle across space, then blaze through the atmosphere like falling stars before they crash to the ground.

A meteorite from Mars, recovered recently from the Moroccan desert shortly after it landed, is being described as one of the most scientifically important meteorites ever to have fallen to Earth.
