A TV journalist has been been killed in the resort city of Cancun, Mexico.
Reporter Javier Enrique Rodriguez was shot on Wednesday, his employer said, the second journalist to meet a violent death in the popular tourist spot this year.
Mr Valladares worked as a cameraman and reporter for Canal 10. The station said his family had confirmed his death.
According to news reports in Cancun, the reporter was shot while walking with another man in the central part of the city.
Local officials have not released any information about the case.
In July, Ruben Pat, the editor-in-chief of the Playa News weekly, was shot dead outside a bar in Playa del Carmen.
Mexico is a country notoriously dangerous for the media. Last year, 11 journalist were killed in Mexico.
According to various freedom of speech organizations, more than 100 journalist have been killed in Mexico since 2000. The vast majority of those crimes have gone unpunished.

The news of Mr Valladares' death comes a week after Mexican officials discovered eight bodies in the streets of Cancun last week.
