Australian cyclist of the year Cameron Meyer and rising star Shara Gillow won the national time trial championships in teeming rain at Learmonth, near Ballarat on Tuesday.
Meyer capped off a great championships for his Garmin-Cervelo professional team by successfully defending his time trial title, finishing 12 seconds ahead of team-mate Jack Bobridge over the 38km course.
On Sunday, Garmin-Cervelo rode brilliantly as a team as Bobridge won the men's elite road race.

Gillow, who finished eighth in the time trial at last year's world titles, won her first senior national title by beating Taryn Heather by only three seconds in their 28km event.
World under-23 time trial silver medallist Luke Durbridge and Lauren Kitchen won the under-23 categories.
