Michael Ibrahim back in custody

The younger brother of notorious Sydney figures Hassan and John Ibrahim is back in custody, the State Parole Authority says.

Michael Ibrahim, the brother of Kings Cross club owner John Ibrahim and ex-bikie boss Hassan "Sam" Ibrahim, is back in custody after his parole was revoked.

The State Parole Authority (SPA) released the 36-year-old, who was shot in the shoulder outside his luxury inner Sydney apartment earlier this month, on conditional parole on August 28.

But he was on Thursday taken back into custody for meeting with people he was banned from contacting as part of his release conditions.

"He has one year remaining to serve of his total sentence of nine years and four months for the 2006 manslaughter of Robin Nassour in Chiswick," the SPA said.

Police believe at least two people were involved in the shooting attack that left Ibrahim recovering in a Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital for days.

A late model car, possibly a white Audi, was also spotted at the scene.

On New Year's Day, three days before the shooting, some of the Ibrahim siblings were sipping champagne at one of Sydney's most exclusive waterfront spots.
