Minibus crash in France kills 12

A group of 12 Portuguese workers heading home for Easter has been killed in France when their minibus collided head-on with a truck.

A head-on collision between a minibus and a truck has killed 12 people in central France, local media reports.

The victims were reportedly all Portuguese nationals returning home from Switzerland for Easter.

The head-on collision happened around midnight. Witnesses told police the minibus had swerved over to the other side of the road and into the truck.

The minibus driver was taken to hospital, while the two drivers of the lorry were only slightly hurt.
