Rising golf star Min Woo Lee is more than happy to follow in the footsteps of his famous sister, but he probably won't be stuck in her shadow for long.
Lee's sister is 19-year-old Australian Minjee Lee - the former world No.1 amateur who is being touted in some circles as the next big thing in women's golf.
Min Woo created headlines of his own last week when he shot a course record 64 in the opening round of the WA PGA Championship at Kalgoorlie Golf Course.
It was an impressive display from the 17-year-old amateur, who is balancing his year 11 high school studies with his fledgling golf career.
The Lee siblings represent the next wave of golfing talent coming through in Australia.
And while Minjee has already enjoyed fame in her short career, Min Woo has been soaking up plenty of lessons from his sister's journey.
"Everyone says that I've been living under my sister's shadow. But I don't think I'd be here without her," Min Woo said.
"She's helped me so much and given me lots of motivation. Everything she's done - I've followed in her footsteps.
"Hopefully I follow up on the men's tour just like her on the girls' tour.
"It's nice to have a sister who's doing well. It's just a motivator really."
Min Woo will be back in action this week when he lines up in the November 5-8 WA Open at Royal Fremantle Golf Club.
The venue is Min Woo's home course, raising hopes he can beat the likes of Brett Rumford, Peter Lonard, and Jason Scrivener to take home the title.
But it's not just the sandy bunkers Min Woo will have to look out for .
Min Woo was disqualified from last week's WA PGA Championship for accidentally signing off on a scorecard that contained an error in it.
He made the same mistake in the US earlier this year, but he hopes bad luck won't strike in threes.
"It's devastating when it happens," he said.
"It just feels like your whole week's been for nothing.
"It's something I can learn from."
