Missing boy, 9, found in Rockhampton

A nine-year-old boy missing in Rockhampton since Saturday afternoon has been found safe and well.

A nine-year-old boy missing since Saturday afternoon in central Queensland has been found safe and well.

Police located the boy at the Rockhampton suburb of Kawana around 3.20pm on Sunday, about 23 hours after he was reported missing.

An amber alert had been issued to help find the boy but police now say the circumstances surrounding his disappearance were not suspicious.
