Missing girl found in Mackay

Police have found an 11-year-old girl who went missing from the Queensland city of Mackay.

An 11-year-old girl who went missing in the Queensland city of Mackay has been found safe and well, police say.

They held concerns for her safety due to her age after she went missing from Blacks Beach at around 4.30pm on Monday.

Early on Tuesday police said she had been found safe and well and they thanked the public for their assistance.
