Missing man's body found in Melb park

Missing Melbourne man Talha Wahab's body has been found in a Melbourne creek more than two weeks after he disappeared.

The death of a Melbourne man who disappeared more than two weeks ago is being investigated by homicide detectives.

Talha Wahab's body was found in a Moomba Park creek in Fawkner on Friday, after he disappeared on September 15.

The 29-year-old's pregnant wife, Tanzeel Memon, made a tearful public plea for him to return home in a video published last week on YouTube.

"If, Talha, you're listening, please let us know you're safe ... every minute, every second, is very difficult for me," Ms Memon said in the video.

"Please, I would like people to come forward and help me find my husband, please."

Mr Wahab's body was discovered at 11am on Friday and homicide detectives are investigating his death.

He was last seen leaving his Oxfam office in Carlton on September 15. His car was found parked at Moomba Park later that night.
