A brother and sister, aged 10 and four, who disappeared from a northern NSW park on Thursday afternoon have been found at their father's house around 130km away.
Police, SES volunteers and local community members launched a massive search overnight as William and Savanah Bradbury went missing after their mother left them unattended at a park in Casino about 3pm.
The siblings were located safe and well with their father in Tenterfield about 9.30am on Friday.
"Police would like to thank the community, volunteers and media for their assistance," a police spokesperson said.
Officers and SES volunteers door-knocked the Casino area well into the night and resumed their search at first light on Friday morning.
The Casino community also rallied together to help find the children.
"Drove around for 45 minutes looking everywhere over town," Bec Lee Jans posted to Facebook on Thursday night.
"Broke my heart having to come home, it's so dark my eyes were starting to hurt from all the lights. Feel so helpless sitting here not able to do anything. Really hope they get cold and head home!"
Local residents responded in huge numbers when the Richmond Local Area Command asked for help in finding the Bradbury kids.
More than 700 people shared the call to arms online, which attracted about 200 comments by Friday morning.
The comments included well wishes, plans and suggestions to aid the search.
"Having drive around again now, some locals have left out blankets, food," Amy Michelle said.
