Ivanka Majic, from the south of England, was mentioned in a tweet from the President-elect's account, intended as praise for his daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Several hours later - after waking to a torrent of mobile notifications and media calls - Ms Majic tweeted her response.

It's not the first time Ms Majic has been confused for someone else, but Mr Trump's notoriety did roughly triple her followers to over 6,500.

"Ivanka is an incredibly boring and popular Slavic girls name. The other one I get confused with is an Hungarian concrete company called Ivanka concrete," she told the BBC

Ms Majic isn't alone with her advice on Mr Trump's twitter use, last week outgoing CIA Director John Brennan alluded to Mr Trump's social media use in a widely publicised interview

"Spontaneity is not something that protects national security interests," Brennan said.

"So therefore when he speaks or when he reacts, just make sure he understands that the implications and impact on the United States could be profound."

"It's more than just about Mr. Trump. It's about the United States of America," he said.
