Mitchell tight-lipped over Brownlow return

Eagles recruit Sam Mitchell doesn't want to comment on news that Jobe Watson has handed back his Brownlow medal.

West Coast recruit Sam Mitchell has refused to comment on the Brownlow medal controversy after Jobe Watson handed back the one he won in 2012.

Watson announced on Friday he was giving the medal back, and the Brownlow could now retrospectively be given to joint runners-up Trent Cotchin and Mitchell.

Mitchell was in the middle of a press conference when news broke of Watson's move, but the former Hawthorn champion said he didn't want to comment on the issue.
