More Crown pokies tampering allegations

A fourth whistleblower is alleging machine tampering at Melbourne's Crown Casino.

Poker machines at Melbourne's Crown Casino were tampered with to limit betting options, a fresh whistleblower alleges.

The man, who went to the ABC with his allegations, is the fourth person to make such claims after federal independent MP Andrew Wilkie aired allegations by three others in parliament in October.

Victorian Gamining Minister Marlene Kairouz would not comment on the allegations, but reiterated that they were being examined by the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation.

"As I've said right from the beginning, the regulator is taking these allegations quite seriously and so am I," she said.

A Crown spokeswoman said "any allegations of this nature should be referred to the VCGLR".
