More Gold Coast bikies face court

The Gold Coast's crackdown on bikie gangs has continued with two more alleged members facing a Queensland court on Monday.

Two more alleged Gold Coast motorcycle club members have faced court following arrests over the weekend.

Brisbane-based Ahmza Elcheikh made a brief appearance in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday after being arrested and charged with riot.

Elcheikh, 21, who is allegedly a member of the Bandidos bikie gang, is the latest person charged following a brawl outside a Broadbeach restaurant over a week ago.

Elcheikh was granted bail on the condition he avoid the Gold Coast region and will return to court on November 26.

In an unrelated matter, alleged Lone Wolf bikie gang member Shane Treloar was denied bail after being arrested following an incident at Surfers Paradise at about 1am (AEST) on Monday.

Treloar, 39, was charged with public nuisance, contravention of a banning order and obstruct police after allegations he was causing a disturbance and intimidating people walking in the area of Hanlan Street.

He has been remanded in custody and will return to court via video-link on November 13.
