More hearings for greyhounds inquiry

The Special Commission of Inquiry into the NSW greyhound racing industry will hold further public hearings later in November.

The greyhound racing industry will be back in the spotlight when a special commission of inquiry holds new public hearings later in November.

The inquiry, headed by former High Court judge Michael McHugh, heard shocking evidence of live rabbits being used to bait dogs and large-scale destruction of unwanted greyhounds, when it held its first hearings on the NSW industry in September.

The commission announced on Tuesday that further hearings will be held in Sydney from November 16 to November 20.
