The poll of 500 people was taken on Wednesday and Thursday, and came in a week when two more Australians in Afghanistan were killed

and a Victorian soldier was buried.

It shows only 35 per cent agree with Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Opposition Leader Tony Abbott that soldiers should stay in Afghanistan as long as necessary.
