Motorbike rider dies in NSW truck smash

A motorcyclist has been killed after colliding with a truck in NSW.

A motorbike rider has been killed after colliding with a B-double truck near Newcastle in NSW.

The vehicles collided in a northbound lane of the M1 Pacific Motorway at Beresfield around 3.40pm on Friday.

The rider was treated by paramedics but died at the scene, while the uninjured truck driver was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
