Motorcyclist, 29, dies after Sydney crash

A 29-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash in northwest Sydney, while the driver of the car involved in the accident was uninjured.

A motorcyclist has died in hospital after his bike collided with a car in northwest Sydney.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Pennant Hills and Russell Roads, Oatlands, just before 5pm on Friday.

The 29-year-old rider was rushed to hospital but died at 10.40pm. The 38-year-old car driver was uninjured but taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

He was then taken to Castle Hill Police Station before being released pending further inquiries.
