Motorcyclist killed in Brisbane crash

Police are investigating the death of a motorcyclist in a crash involving a car in central Brisbane.

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in central Brisbane.

Police say the crash happened about 11.30pm on Sunday on Ann Street in the CBD.

The rider, a 47-year-old Cornubia man, was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital where he later died.

A Fairfield man, the 29-year-old driver of the car, was unhurt.

The accident is being investigated by officers from the Forensic Crash Unit.
