Penrith fullback Matt Moylan has been rewarded for a strong first NRL finals by being added to an extended bench for the Prime Minister's XIII.

Moylan will join NSW State of Origin teammates James Tedesco, Josh Dugan and Aaron Woods in the side to take on the PNG PM's XIII in Port Moresby on Saturday.

His inclusion by coach Mal Meninga on an extended bench continues an breakthrough year in which he played his first Origin series and finals campaign with the Panthers, who were beaten by Canberra last Saturday night.

Meninga has previously indicated Moylan is in the frame for Kangaroos selection for the end-of-season Four Nations tournament in October and November.

"He has had an impressive year and I expect him to play a pivotal role amongst our team in what will be hot and humid playing conditions in Port Moresby," Meninga said.

Moylan will line up alongside Kangaroos players Greg Inglis, Semi Radradra, Josh Dugan and Blake Ferguson, who all appeared in the May Test against the Kiwis.

Australian Prime Minister's XIII: James Tedesco, Semi Radradra, Greg Inglis (capt), Josh Dugan, Blake Ferguson, Mitchell Moses, Mitchell Pearce, Aaron Woods, Jake Friend, Ryan James, Boyd Cordner, Tyson Frizell, Josh Jackson, David Klemmer, Moses Mbye, Dylan Napa, Jake Trbojevic, Matt Moylan.
