Australia's three country independents will be given access to confidential information that even Prime Minister Julia Gillard can't see after opposition Leader Tony Abbott agreed yesterday to their request for Treasury to cost the coalition's policies.
The coalition had initially refused to provide the figures after Treasury leaked information about their broadband policy during the election campaign.
Independent MPs Tony Windsor, Bob Katter and Rob Oakeshott will now get to see the costings of both sides.

Meanwhile, as counting continues Ms Gillard met Greens leader Bob Brown and Greens lower house MP Aadam Bandt yesterday and she's expected to meet another independent Andrew Wilkie in Melbourne today.
Newly-elected West Australian Nationals MP Tony Crook says he's an independent MP a point Mr Abbott has declined to concede.
At this stage Labor has 72 seats in the House of Representatives the Coalition also has 72 there are five independents and one Greens MP.
