Medecins San Frontieres Australia has called on the Australian government to go beyond pledging millions of dollars to fight the Ebola crisis in West Africa.

Instead, the organisation says, it's calling on Australia to immediately respond with a deployment of what it calls "specialised civil and military capacity."

In fact, Medecins San Frontieres says, it cannot accept any donation of funds from the Australian government.

The NGO's executive director, Paul McPhun, explains to Ron Sutton why the millions are not enough.
