Mum caught drink-driving with son in car

Police say a mother has been caught drink-driving with her young son in the car in the state's south.

A mother on her P-plates has been caught drink-driving in southern NSW with her two-year-old son in the car.

The 25-year-old woman had three passengers in the car when she was stopped at a random breath test in Nowra about 3pm (AEDT) on Saturday.

She blew a positive roadside breath test and was taken to Nowra Police Station, where she returned a reading of 0.156.

Police suspended her licence and issued her with a court attendance notice for high-range drink driving.

The woman, from Comboyne, will appear in Nowra Local Court in January.
