David Warner's Sunrisers Hyderabad have suffered their first loss of the Indian Premier League campaign, falling by four wickets to Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium.

Warner and Indian opening partner Shikhar Dhawan got the Sunrisers off to a flying start after being sent in, putting on 81 for the first wicket. The Australian vice-captain made 49 off 34 balls before being caught by Parthiv Patel off the bowling of Harbhajan Singh while Dhawan finished with 48 from 43 balls.

Wickets fell consistently from that point as Sunrisers finished their 20 overs with the score at 8-158.

Jasprit Bumrah was best of the bowlers for Mumbai, returning 3-24 from his four overs. Singh finished with two and Lasith Malinga one.

In reply opener Patel got Indians off to a good start with 39. Nitish Rana top-scored with 45 before being bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar for one of his three wickets.
