Stand-in Wallabies captain Dean Mumm's head is still spinning after a dream long weekend at the Rugby World Cup.
From the birth of his first child, to becoming the 84th Wallabies' skipper, Mumm's weekend was capped off with a landslide 65-3 victory over Uruguay on Sunday - in which he scored a rare try.
"The head is still spinning, it's been a pretty incredible few days," Mumm said.
"Moreso in getting to meet my son, but there's been a lot been going on and it's been good to get the result.
"Everyone here has been so supportive of me and that has it made it that much easier."
Mumm made a frantic dash to London in the dead of the night on Friday morning to be at the birth of his son - arriving just in time after making the two-hour drive from the Wallabies' training base in Bath following a 3.40am phone call from his wife Sarah.
He rejoined the team on Saturday morning and said there was never any real consideration given to skipping the game.
The Wallabies will next turn their focus to London, and a vital showdown with England at Twickenham on Sunday.
It is a must-win match for the hosts, who will be consigned to a pool exit should the Wallabies prevail.
Coach Michael Cheika and his men will be keen to avoid the rabid hype which will surround the game for as long as possible - but Mumm is one Wallaby who can't wait to get to London, where he will be reunited with his young family.
"I am looking forward to that, I haven't actually held him yet," Mumm said.
"I'll get back there and have a hold which will be pretty special.
"I think we always knew this was going to be a big game and the lead up in terms of where we were in Bath was going to be different to downtown London.
"But it was always going to be big.
"The context might have changed, but our focus is on ourselves and the improvements we have to make.
"That hasn't changed and we know we have to be better as we go into what is a really important match.
"Regardless of where we are, that's where our focus is."
