Queensland missed 55 tackles in their game one State of Origin loss but there was one in particular that remains burned on the mind of Cameron Munster.
The Maroons pivot insists he isn't one to dwell on games once they're played, but was still quick to volunteer the one moment he wants to avoid a repeat of in Sunday's must-win clash.
"Probably that tackle at marker against Tedesco ... I had a full chance to tackle him, went low and he slipped through and they scored," he told AAP.
"Hopefully I don't make that one again on Sunday ... I move on but that was something that stuck in my head after the game."
Munster knows it will be those small margins that will decide the contest in Sydney after the Blues did it better in a 22-12 MCG victory.
"I thought we were the dominant side at times; we were catching the ball (for kick returns) on our 40 metre line," he said.
"Crucial errors and missed tackles have a snowball effect, little things turn into big things and that's what hurts you in Origin."
Everything the Storm No.6 touched turned to gold when he was thrust into the Origin arena last year.
Now an established member of the squad, much will be asked of the 23-year-old as the Maroons try to manufacture a Brisbane decider.
But the relaxed Rockhampton product says the magnified role isn't weighing on him.
"It doesn't change my approach," he said
"I'm just one of them guys that loves playing, it's just a privilege and exciting.
"I love having my back against the wall; it makes me strive a little better on the big stage."
