Murder charge over body found in Melb west

A man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found at a property in Melbourne's west.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder over the death of a woman in Melbourne.

The 20-year-old woman's body was discovered at a Unitt Street property in Melton in Melbourne's west about 7pm on Sunday.

The man appeared before a bail justice at an out of sessions hearing on Monday and was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
