Murder charges laid over Kalgoorlie death

Two men will face court accused of murdering a young man whose mutilated body was found in a home in WA's Goldfields region on Sunday.

Two Goldfields men have been charged with murder over the death of a 24-year-old man in Kalgoorlie at the weekend.

Police said the Boulder men, aged 48 and 30, were charged overnight.

Two crime scenes, including in Boulder, are still being combed by forensics officers as police believe other people may be involved.

The name of the victim, whose mutilated body was found at a house in Ware Street, South Kalgoorlie on Sunday afternoon, has not yet been released as relatives are still being notified.

The charged men will face Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
