Andy Murray has been selected to lead Britain's team for the Davis Cup semi-final against Argentina next week.

The second-ranked Murray could face resurgent Juan Martin del Potro in the best-of-five series at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, from September 16-18.

Both men advanced to the US Open quarter-finals on Monday and could meet in the semi-finals.

Their Davis Cup participation could depend on what happens in New York.

The defending champion British team also includes Kyle Edmund and Dan Evans, who achieved breakthroughs at the US Open.
