Andy Murray became the first player to win five titles at the pre-Wimbledon Queen's club event as the top seed salvaged a 6-7(5) 6-4 6-3 defeat of Milos Raonic in the Sunday final.
Murray needed almost two and a quarter hours to complete his fightback after losing the 52-minute opening set to the Canadian third seed. It took Murray three match points to finish off Raonic.
Murray trailed a set and 3-0 before starting his successful drive to reverse the momentum.
The top-seeded Scot took his title haul in west London past the four trophies of seven current and past players, including Lleyton Hewitt, Andy Roddick, Boris Becker and John McEnroe.
McEnroe was in the player's box of new coaching client Raonic while Ivan Lendl is back with Team Murray as an adviser.

"This event has a lot of history and winning it for a fifth time is something special," Murray said.
"The field here is always strong. To win it five times means a lot."
The world No.2 said he took his fightback one step at a time.
"The first thing is to try and get the break back. I started getting the feel of his serve as the match went along," Murray said.
"It was frustrating to be down, but my serve helped me out a lot in the last two sets. It was working well."
Raonic was playing his first grass final and his first tournament under the supervision of McEnroe. Mac and Lendl met 36 times as players.
Murray has now won his past five matches over Raonic, standing 6-3 in the series. Entering the final, the Canadian was unbroken in 47 service games this week.
"It was a lot of fun to play here," Raonic said. "I'm feeling pretty good about my game.
"I've made some good progress this week and I hope to continue in the days leading into Wimbledon."
