My Kitchen Rules most watched show

The Seven Network's My Kitchen Rules nudging around two million viewers each night.

My Kitchen Rules (MKR) is performing in a similar manner to the first season of the hit singing series The Voice with audience numbers nudging two million a night.

The Seven Network cooking series started with more than 1.6 million viewers on average per show but now it's nudging 1.9 million and 2 million each night.

The Voice did slightly better numbers in its first season and the gulf between the Nine Network series, which returns later this year, and the opposition is extensive.

And so is the margin between MKR and the rest of the programs according to OzTAM's overnight ratings.

On Monday, MKR drew 1.888 million to be the number one show while Nine News (1.168 million) and Nine News 6.30 (1.137 million) were second and third respectively.
