The NSW Community Relations Commission has released a video promoting better understanding of the Islamic community, after offensive comments about the recent Muslim protests in Sydney were posted on Facebook.
The commission hopes the video will go viral, and reach young Australians.
The release of the video coincides with a warning from Defence Minister Stephen Smith over violent and threatening comments that appeared on a former soldier's Facebook page, in response to this month's Sydney protests.
The defence minister is warning all defence personnel to watch themselves as the army launches an investigation.
