NAB lifts satisfaction rating

The Commonwealth Bank continues to lead the big four banks when it comes to satisfaction among business customers but NAB is only one to show improvement.

National Australia Bank has lifted its standing among business customers, but continues to lag behind its major rivals.

A monthly survey of satisfaction among the big four's business clients shows NAB was the only one to improve its average rating in February.

After dropping further behind the other banks to 6.9 in January, NAB is now back to 7.0 after improving its standing among its micro and small business customers, market research company DBM Consultants Business Financial Services Monitor (BFSM) says.

The Commonwealth Bank, ANZ and Westpac maintained their January ratings with CBA still leading the pack with an average rating of 7.5, due to strong results across all business segments.

"The results speak for themselves, CBA is clearly doing well, particularly at meeting the needs of many of its medium and large customers," DBM director Maria Claridad said.

ANZ and Westpac both scored satisfaction ratings of 7.4.
