Naked Donald Trump statue stolen in Miami

Donald Trump naked, not that appealing to many but a statue of the Republican presidential candidate has been stolen in Miami.

Police in South Florida say they have a person of interest in the theft of a naked Donald Trump statue.

Miami police said on the department's official Twitter account that the statue of the Republican presidential nominee was taken from the Wynwood arts district on Thursday.

WSVN-TV reports security guards in Wynwood told police they saw a group of men loading the statue into a pick-up truck.

A witness told investigators he took a picture of the truck as it left the neighbourhood. Police ran the license plate and are now looking for the registered owner of the truck.

It is one of the life-sized naked Trump statue that artist collective INDECLINE installed around the country in August.
