Sydney Roosters forward Dylan Napa has been unsuccessful in his bid to have a grade-one careless high tackle charge overturned at the NRL judiciary.

Napa will serve a one-match ban for his tackle on Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco from last weekend's round-13 match.

Napa joins a host of players to receive one-match bans out of round 13.

Canberra fullback Jack Wighton was hit with one match for making contact with sideline official Brett Suttor in Canberra's 30-18 demolition of Manly, while his teammate Shannon Boyd copped a week for a shoulder charge on Jake Trbojevic in the same match.

Canterbury hooker Michael Lichaa avoided a one-week ban with an early guilty plea over a dangerous throw on Cronulla forward Chris Heighington.

The biggest ban of the week went to Penrith forward Sam McKendry.

McKendry took the early guilty plea on Tuesday for a grade-one shoulder charge on Melbourne's Cameron Munster in the Storm's win on Saturday over the Panthers at AAMI Park.

The former Kiwi prop will sit out matches against Manly and South Sydney and will not be available until for the Panthers' round-17 clash with the Tigers.
