Education provider Navitas has lifted full-year profit more than 25 per cent to $90.1 million, meeting guidance despite a fall in overall full-time student numbers.

The company says profit for the year to June 30 was up 25.4 per cent compared to 2015's $71.8 million, on $1.01 billion revenue.

The company also said chairman Harvey Collins will retire at November's annual general meeting and replaced by Tracey Horton.
