Oklahoma City guard Hamidou Diallo was stretchered off the floor Wednesday after sustaining a gruesome left leg injury during the Thunder's 123-95 win over the Golden State Warriors in Oakland.
Diallo was attempting to rebound a failed fourth-quarter layup attempt by Warriors forward Jonas Jerebko, and their legs got tangled as the Thunder rookie fell to the floor.
Diallo remained on the court in pain as his teammates pushed the ball upcourt, but the referees soon stopped play so Diallo could receive treatment.
As he was wheeled off the floor, Diallo held his hands over his head.
After the game, Thunder coach Billy Donovan said the only update he had was that Diallo was sent for X-rays.
In 17 minutes of action Wednesday, Diallo scored three points and grabbed six rebounds.
A second-round pick in this year's draft out of Kentucky, Diallo is averaging 6.3 points and 2.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game for Oklahoma City.
