NBL panel reviewing on-court scuffles

The NBL's game review panel is scrutinising scuffles in the Illawarra-Brisbane game and also in Cairns' win over Perth.

The NBL game review panel is looking at on-court scuffles which marred two games on Sunday.

The first match under scrutiny is the Illawarra Hawks' win over Brisbane when a third quarter hard foul by the Bullets' Adam Gibson on Hawks big man Nick Kay sparked a melee.

Bullets centre Tom Jervis appeared to go after Illawarra import Demitrius Conger in the incident with a total of five players given fouls.

An incident in the game between the Taipans and defending champions Perth in Cairns is also under review.

US import Jean-Pierre Tokoto top-scored for the Wildcats but received an unsportsmanlike foul after a scuffle with Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera during the final quarter.

The NBL will release its findings and any charges arising from the games on Tuesday morning.
