Nebraska and Iowa stocks rise, led by National Research

Nebraska and Iowa stocks rose on Monday, led by National Research Corp. and Lindsay Corp.

The Bloomberg Nebraska and Iowa Index, a price-weighted list of companies with operations in the region, rose 1.57 to 728.14.

National Research rose 1.81 to 40.10. Lindsay rose 1.45 to 76.52.

Berkshire Hathaway Class A shares rose 500.00 to 207,200.00.

In the broader market, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index fell 6.17 to 2,001.54. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 25.94 to 17,111.42.

The Bloomberg Nebraska and Iowa Index was developed with a base value of 100 as of Dec. 31, 1996.
