Nebraska and Iowa stocks rise, led by Union Pacific

Nebraska and Iowa stocks rose on Thursday, led by Union Pacific and Oneok Partners.

The Bloomberg Nebraska and Iowa Index, a price-weighted list of companies with operations in the region, rose 4.32 to 696.11.

Union Pacific rose 4.33 to 104.03. Oneok rose 2.28 to 51.54.

Berkshire Hathaway Class A shares fell 1,799.91 to 202,000.09.

In the broader market, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 0.27 to 1,862.76. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 24.50 to 16,117.24.
