Nebraska and Iowa stocks rise, led by Union Pacific

Nebraska and Iowa stocks rose on Monday, led by Union Pacific and National Research.

The Bloomberg Nebraska and Iowa Index, a price-weighted list of companies with operations in the region, rose 6.79 to 715.86.

Union Pacific rose 1.80 to 103.79. National Research rose 1.36 to 39.00.

Berkshire Hathaway Class A shares rose 1,192.00 to 202,419.00.

In the broader market, the Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 16.68 to 1,971.74. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 175.83 to 16,838.74.
