Nebraska and Iowa stocks rise, led by Unitedhealth

NEW YORK — Nebraska and Iowa stocks rose Tuesday, led by Unitedhealth Group Inc and Aci Worldwide.

The Bloomberg Nebraska and Iowa Index, a price-weighted list of companies with operations in the region, rose 3.93 to 727.18.

Unitedhealth Group surged 2.57 to 121.55. Aci Worldwide rose 0.44 to 25.24.

In the broader market, the Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 11.86 to 2,096.29. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 113.31 to 17,904.48. The Bloomberg Nebraska and Iowa Index was developed with a base value of 100 as of Dec. 31, 1996.
