Liam Neeson will reunite with his onscreen wife, Famke Janssen, and daughter, Maggie Grace, in the third installment of his hit Taken franchise.
Both actresses have now officially signed on for the project, reports Deadline.com.
Last King of Scotland Forest Whitaker is also in talks to star in the upcoming kidnap action thriller.
Neeson will reteam with Taken 2 director Olivier Megaton and reprise his retired CIA agent character for the film, which is expected to begin production later in 2014.
Pierre Morel directed the original Taken, which became a huge surprise hit in 2008, making over $US226 million ($A258.30 million) worldwide on a budget of $US25 million.
