New cyber security centre in Adelaide

NEC has announced plans to set up a cyber security centre in Adelaide which will create 50 jobs.

Global technology company NEC will set up a $4.3 million cyber security centre in Adelaide.

The centre will create 50 jobs over the next five years and offer security services to government bodies and private companies.

"We see the cyber security demand in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region as a huge opportunity, aligning with the company's global vision," NEC Australia chief Mike Barber said on Tuesday.
