New FECCA chair outlines priorities

The new FECCA chair Joe Caputo has been a passionate advocate for people from non-English speaking backgrounds for decades.

Joe Caputo has been a passionate advocate for people from non-English speaking backgrounds in Australia for most of the past four decades.

He was a founding member of the Federation of Italian Migrant Workers and their Families, a founding member of the Ethnic Communities' Council of Victoria.

Now, he's just been elected the new chairman of the nation's leading representative body for migrants, the Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia.

Joe Caputo spoke to Ron Sutton about his priorities.
